I’m brandon hardison president of champion strategies with our ongoing tips on public speaking, so let’s get right to it.
For today, i want you to look at tips to succeed at your next event.
You know when you think of an impressive speakers.
One thing sticks out their passion for the topic.
The excitement is infectious and inspiring in many cases, it’s also the best way to attract and maintain audience attention.
So whenever you want to expand your public speaking resume or just get better at presenting in front of clients, you need some help to meet these goals.
So remember, the most important thing that you can do is to get fired up about your topic from an angle that excites you and the rest of the room so try to improve on defining your end goal.
The first thing we do when we prepare a speech is to definitely outline your end goal.
What do you want the audience to do after they leave the room? What information would you leave with them now, once you’ve defined, what your audience will take away? Build your talking points around supporting that goal.
This leads itself to a more forced and actionable speech that provides a real value to your audience.
For example, let’s say a big conference invited you to speak about new small businesses and how they can grow with their sales organizations.
Well, i would start by nailing down your objective.
It’s getting the audience to hire you as a sales, build consultant speaking topics around these things, preventing small sales organizations.
One thing be a giver, not a taker.
You give a lot more than you receive if you’re thinking that way, if you’re just wanting to take the check, you may never hear from that organization again how about trying to make slides and aids a asset, not a crunch.
A whole lot of people feel comfortable by supporting what they’re saying, with some type of visual aid, slides thing about it.
It must be correct if you put up the wrong slide and you’re talking about one thing and they’re, seeing something else: it’s not going to work out well, another rule of thumb is to make your font sizes double the average, because the audience are sitting further away.
This way, you know that they’re on topic with you, so what has come to age? We do have different things that we can present that we couldn’t present before research more and you’ll find out how to use aids like slides power points in your presentation.
Now we’re going to talk about this a lot more on the next video.
So, as always in party you go out and you make it a champion day, .
