Hi brandon hardison president of champion strategies with our ongoing series on public speaking today.
I’d like to talk to you about what do great presenters do that good prisoners don’t have you ever wondered? What makes a great presenter stand out more than a good presenter.
Many of us probably sat through a presentation or two that wasn’t just what we were hoping for, and we would always feel for the person saying that i wish they would have gotten it better.
So here’s just some tips.
Great speakers share real personal stories that help their audience connect with the message.
People love personal stories, especially from somebody who is done that been there before.
So, if you’re using personal stories you’re on the right track, if you’re afraid of personal stories, then that’s another thing.
You may not know what stories you can use until you actually get there, but when you have the time sit down, try and record the details that you can remember and when did things happen? Who was there what was going on and what were you and the other people doing at the time? By laying these things out, people in the audience can understand you a lot better.
Many people ask me: do you really need to use stories? I always respond to the question by saying: if you want to get paid, you do professional speakers learn to become good storytellers and you use the stories all the time.
The more you practice telling a story, the better it begins to sound to the audience and ultimately, getting through to your message once again: brandon hardison president of champion strategies with our ongoing public speaking workshop and as always in parting, you go out.
You make the champion day, .
