We were talking about overcoming speaking anxieties and we’re going to pick it up from there.
We were talking about the things that you need to do like know your material.
If you’re not familiar with your material or uncomfortable with it, your nervousness will increase practice.
Your speech or your presentation revise it until you can present it with ease, learn how to relax.
You can ease tension by doing exercises, sit comfortably with your back straight breathe in slowly hold your breath for four or five seconds.
Then slowly exhale to relieve your muscles.
You need to open your mouth and eyes wide.
Then close visualize yourself speaking in front of this large group with everyone applauding so positive visuals are always in your mind.
Realize people want to succeed.
They want you to succeed.
All allianz speakers are interesting, stimulating informative, but no one wants anybody to fail that they paid their money to view that person and whatever you do never apologize for being nervous.
Most of the time, you’re nervous, because you’re not confident with your abilities, because you didn’t practice.
You didn’t prepare yourself, but if you’re mentally nervous apologize for any problem that you have with your speech, uh you’re calling attention to it had you remain silent.
Your listeners may have had a different experience.
Concentrate on your message.
Not the medium.
Your nervousness will disappear.
If you focus your attention away from your anxieties, turn nervousness into positive energy.
Hardens you to be a little bit tougher, the next time, you’re in front of the group and gain experience.
Experience uh always breeds what we know.
Confidence and the better you are with delivering confidence shows that you are valuable shows that you are a subject matter expert.
